UFW is just a front for IPTables.

Check UFW status

ufw status

Enable UFW

ufw enable

Disable UFW

ufw disable

UFW preset rule options

UFW may have preset rulesets that can be used for applications you have installed.

View available rule presets

ufw app list

You'll see an output something like:

Available applications:
  Apache
  Apache Full
  Apache Secure
  Nginx Full
  Nginx HTTP
  Nginx HTTPS
  OpenSSH

You can then use the preset options to set rules

UFW allow option

ie

ufw allow nginx
